food storage

Sam and I attended a leadership meeting last night. They showed a video from the First Presidency about SELF RELIANCE
For some reason the past few weeks I have really been feeling the need to get some food storage, so this message again reminded me of how important it is to be prepared.
It just so happens that Ridleys in Pocatello has been having a huge CASE LOT SALE this weekend, so today I ventured out and got PREPARED
I guess as prepared as a couple of college students can get.
What am I going to do with all this food?
Hopefully we really wont end up needing it.

Congratulations Kyrsten! I love the feeling of having food storage. When Dallin and I were living in apartments I had food storage under the bed, on top of my cupboards, in closets, I had it stashed all over the place. It's important to have even if you don't have the room to store it. I'm glad you were able to get some essentials. Now you just need to keep it up, don't let your stock go down, only up and make sure you use it regularly to turn it over.

Ty and I totally love case lot sales! We live off of canned goods.

We are in the same boat as you! I finally got some food storage (as much as two college students could get haha)! Now the question we are asking ourselves is where are we going to put it?

Hey Kyrst! If you enjoy advertising, but prefer the design elements of it, visual communications would be a great fit for you. The GREAT thing about doing design free lance is, you can work right out of your house... perfect if you want to be a stay-at-home mom eventually. I really haven't advertised my services at all, it's purely done by word of mouth. So, I'm sure if I was more motivated and wanted more work, I could contact local businesses and try to recruit more jobs. So, it CAN be a profitable source of income. If you decide this is something you want to do, I can talk to you more about how much I charge clients, time frames, stipulations, etc. etc. Just to kind of give you an idea. Hope this helps. Call me any time.

You are coming so soon, YAY! So we'd love to go to dinner. Kristy is actually coming that week too. It would be fun to get together. So I really like the Bronx Zoo. If you go on Wednesdays it's donation day. Pay what you want to get in. Some people hand them a quarter. I'm not that stingy but it's so fun. If you like Museums The Natural History Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art are also donations. They don't say that because they want your money but if you hand them 10 bucks or whatever and say 2 please they can't say anything. Ummm, of course the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. If it's a busy day it's nice to get your tickets online the night before, but I don't think it will be too busy. Maybe a little more on a Saturday. Serendipity is always a fun place to eat. The frozen hot chocolate is sooo good. Call me and we can talk if you need ideas. My number is 208-339-3908 or my email is tingrebe@hotmail.com. Like I said Kristy will be here so we can totally all go do things together if you would like. Anyways, I'm excited for you. Oh and it is a bit more expensive but Broadway shows are fun. I have a place that we are getting our tickets at for cheaper, and there are other ways too. I can email you the attachment if you're interested and want to go to a show. Let me know, it should be fun. K, hope that helped a little. There is a never ending list so let me know what else I can do
