Happy Holidays... and HELLO!

I wish I could give you a reason as to why this post is so delayed, but the truth is I have have just been LAZY. I love blogging... I am constantly looking at everyones blogs to see what you have been up to lately... but I have just had no motivation to update my own. Maybe laziness is my excuse? The fact of the matter is that school has consumed me. Today was my LAST class of the semester besides my actual final tests of course. It feels great to be finished. Now the studying begins. I dont think my finals with be very hard this semester, I have already turned in my graphic design final, and I only have one more project and two tests next week. It will be nice. Sam is still working his guts out. I feel really bad for him this semester, he has definitely had to buckle down and work hard. But its almost over and CHRISTMAS BREAK HERE WE COME! can you believe it is already the middle of December... We just got our TREE UP!? time sure does fly. well i guess i could fill you in on the pictures... Brianne and her husband Brandon came to Pocatello right before Thanksgiving.. it was so great to see her! Breeze you are still my very best friend! Also we decided to continue on with what we did last year for Thanksgiving and have made going camping to Arches a TRADITION. It was so much fun to go and spend a few days with just Sam and I and dont worry hike 18 miles. :) it was great I have such a fun husband. Then we to the Cabin and had our actual THANKSGIVING MEAL with the family.. thats what the weird pic is of sam and I. Then after that we went with Sams family and cut down CHRISTMAS TREES in Soda. It was so fun! Last Sunday Sams parents came up to bring us our tree and it looks great! We are so happy to have the FEELING OF CHRISTMAS in our home. What a wonderful time of year this is... it really just makes me think of how much i LOVE MY LIFE! I really am blessed.... Also TARYN is coming HOME TOMORROW!! i cannot wait! it has been 6 months since i have seen her! how wonderful she is! i am so blessed to have great family! I hope you guys are having a wonderful HOLIDAY SEASON! My you be blessed! 

Breaking News

Sam and I have been chatting with our friends Rob and Brittney here and there about a trip we would like to take... I know I know your thinking KYRSTEN YOU MENTION TRIPS ALL THE TIME THAT NEVER ACCTUALLY HAPPEN. Yeah your right... at least not for the moment. Anyways tonight our friend Rob said that he recieved an email telling him that round trip tickets were on sale for $200.00... so Sam called me and said what do you think... I SAID DO IT! :) so for spring break we are taking a WONDERFUL VACATION... where to your wondering???...............................................................................................................................................

Thats right! We are way excited! Kinda did it on a whim, but we couldnt be happier! If anybody knows of some great places to go please let us know!! It might not be super exciting to everyone else but we are STOKED. we have both always wanted to visit there and it will give us a great opportunity to see lots of new things!

• Nie Nie Dialogues http://nieniedialogues.com/. this site is a woman who is so ispiring to me. between her romance, kids, photography, and home decor I LOVE IT! ... recently her and her husband were in a private plane crash... both are still alive but in critical condition and continually being treated. it's such a sad story, but from her blog you can tell she was/is such an outstanding woman!

Here we are with our new computer! we are so happy we have it!

Well, life has been going at a steady pace. We haven't been feeling too overwhelmed, but at the same time I feel like life is FLYING! Its already the middle of November and I don't know how! Life has been really good though! We are both working... Sam still at ISU which he really gets bored of, and me at Farmers. I enjoy my job, because its everything that I like doing! Its really interesting how school is working out for both Sam and I. As I was walking out of my graphic design class today I thought to myself "Wow I get to do this for SCHOOL!" I love it! Sam is really enjoying his classes too and he does REALLY well! I'm really impressed with his talent in speaking. I'll brag for him... but he has a so-called really HARD teacher... ya know one of those that never give A's! Anyhow each of his speeches so far... he has gotten A's. Everyone thinks its pretty amazing... including me! We have been having alot of fun... For Halloween we had a party, and Sams brother Dan came and we had a hypnosis show. SO FUNNY. For those of you that have been dying to know what we decided to be.... we were EMO!!! ha Sam looked CLASSIC i loved it! For those of you that are LOST fans... He reminded me of CHARLIE! That might bring up another thing that we have been doing.. we are obsessed with LOST.. maybe its me thats obsessed, but Sam really likes it too. I recommend it to everyone!

On another note... This year was my very first time EVER voting, and I'm really glad that I did it.. Regardless to if my vote mattered in this Republican state, I'm still glad that I lived up to my civic duties! :) Although my candidate choice was not chosen, I will be interested to see how everything turns out. Even if I dont agree with everything he thinks or does, hopefully I can support him as our President. As for proposition 8... I feel sad that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is being looked at and treated like the "BAD GUYS". Its true everyone has a right to his or her own opinion, but I guess as a member stand point, our Prophet and President of the church asked each of us to support a certain cause, and I know that what he asked us to do came DIRECTLY from God. Its funny that over 10 years ago The Family A Proclamation to the World came out, and now we (the church) are being directly persecuted for something that we knew was going to happen. It isn't a coincidence that we have this important revelation to remind us of what is right and true. Im thankful that I know how important FAMILY is, and I am REALLY thankful to all of those who live in California who were so willing to stand up for the Church's beliefs!.... Ok ill be done with that topic, but I guess I just wanted to state how I felt about the topic.

1. Did you date someone from your high school? KInda.. I dated JD Mower a little here and there... but thats about it.
2. What kind of car did you drive? The Gerbil! What a PRECIOUS! taryns blog tells you all about it. when i was a senior.. I won trashiest car with it! or BIGGEST JUNKER whatever it was!
3. Most embarrassing moment of high school? Well it acctually wasnt at school. I was working at Mrs. Powells a bakery in the mall... anyways I had to pee REALLY bad... but there was this Native American guy that couldnt make up his mind about what he wanted... about 5 minutes after he got there... i SNEEZED... WOOPS.. yep i peed a little.. then i just couldnt help it and it just FLOWED like Niagra! right then... 3 of my guy friends came up to me! I was devastated... luckily i scooted my way to the back room and grabbed another apron to tie around my backside until my mom could bring me some NEW undies and pants! :) oh man i said a couple of SWEARS.
4. Were you a party animal? WEll... my mom thought i was... she asked me if i did DRUGS... needless to say i stayed pretty darn sober..
5. Were you considered a flirt? I would have to say that i was pretty flirtatious..
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? I was in choir my freshman year.. im really not much in talent when it comes to musical things.
7. Were you a nerd? NOt in the study alot kind of way
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? i think My parent thought i was the hellian... but i was the only one who never got in trouble... except when Sarah, Hillary, and me toliet papered the gas station bathroom on our way to STATE... ha woops.. we had garbage duty for a month. at least i wasnt a HAZER! :)
10. Can you still sing the fight song? "Highland were loyal to you. Highland we'll stand beside you. To the black and white were truuue HIghland we're true la la la"FRONT BACK KNEE BACK FRONT BACK KICK.. KNEE KICK... KNEE KICK not really just dance.
11. Who were your favorite teachers? I loved my math teacher DEBBIE DAVIES what a riot we had in her class. I also really like good old SKIPO... i dont know if he was my favorite though.. he just gave me a good grade for doing nothing.. OH and MRS HARWOOD what a LOONE!And Mrs Oaks i think her name is She was my junior english teacher
12. Where did you sit during lunch? We loved good OLe' NEw YOrk Burrito we ate there pretty much everyday!
13. What was your school's full name? Highland High School
14. School Mascot? Rams
15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? WE loved the HArtmans, because I went with Jordan Hartman my Junior year... and Jesse.... something my senior year... i dont remember his name... :) ha
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Highschool was great! I loved my friends and it was so easy going, but i love where i am in life now.. so its fun to look back, but i wouldnt do it again.
17. What do you remember most about graduation? Mostly the after party... ha and i had my picture on the FRONT PAGE of the newspaper while HITTING A BEACH BALL during a speech.. my parents were proud!
19. Were you in any clubs? Student government and SADD club. no honors society for me!
20. Have you gained weight since then? Its sad to say but.. yes any ideas on how to loose it now...

22. Going to 10 year Reunion? Yeah it would be fun to see some of the people..
23. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? Dont wish it away so fast. and dont be so dramatic.. life was fun and really not that important then

its a good life

I really just want to say I am so thankful for my life right now! I've wanted to post about conference for forever, but I just havent seemed to get around to it yet.-- every conference my family goes to Bear Lake to just relax and enjoy a little bit of spiritual bliss! :) its something i look forward to every 6 months. This time it was no different. I couldnt wait to get up to the beautiful mountains and glimmering lake! Let me just tell you it was beautiful! The leaves were every color you could imagine, it was amazing! For one I love the fall weather and I couldnt have been happier! Sam, Shag and I rode the four wheelers up the mountain and I was seriously in awe with how beautiful it was! Heavenly Father is seriously one cool guy for making the earth so awesome! Also I was seriously impressed with the Shag for how awesome of a four wheeler driver she is! she was doing all sorts of stuff that i was way to chicken to even think about! GO SHAG! Well, to go along with the whole conference part, I just felt so happy listening this time! I mean its always great, but there was just something about this conference. TO me, it felt like the entire theme of it was HOPE, FAITH, HAPPINESS! PRESSING ONWARD! it just seemed like all of the talks were uplifting. Letting us know that we are doing good! LIfe is good. With all the yuck that is going on in the world around us, it was so nice for me to have that reassuring comfort that if we are living our lives the way that we should, everything will be ok. Yeah we have trials every once in awhile, but Heavenly Father wants us to make the most of it! We need to show by our attitudes that we are enjoying the journey! Needless to say I loved it! It was really sad not having Taryn and Ryan there though! I cant wait to see you guys! That brings me to the next topic that I am so Thankful for... Thats family! What a great blessing to be brought up in such a strong close knit family. ON both sides-my mom and my dad's side. It is such a blessing to have grandparents that are so loving and have brought up their families in Christlike ways! I love it! I now have 2 great families! Sams family is so wonderful and they do so much for me! its so wonderful to know you married the RIGHT person! :) Because i DeFINATELY DID! Sam is so wonderful to me! He truly treats me like a PRINCESS! and I am so thankful for him! LIfe is seriously so wonderful. School and work are busy undeniably, but still I couldnt be happier with where I am right now. I enjoy my schooling, I really like my work, my house is always a mess... but im happy! Thats all that matters right?

WHAT THE?

OK have you looked outside!? ARE YOU SEEING WHAT IM SEEING!? I know that the weather man has been saying the weather is going to get worse and that there is a POSSIBILITY for SNOW! BUT SERIOUSLY! it is OCTOBER 11th and its a BLIZZARD outside! I cant believe this.

a year and an update

well folks, i think that it is time i give you an update. our lives have been absolutely CRAzY! i have wanted to post pictures for the past FOREVER! in fact i havent even posted pictures of our way home from CHICAGO! i am pretty pathetic! but still i want to show you the fun time we had on our way home! Also MONDAy was our ONE YEAR anniversary! I cant believe that time has gone by so fast! it feels like we have been married for foreVER, yet ONE YEAR? i cant believe it! it has been the greatest year of my life! I love sam so much! he is such an amazing man with so much potential! i know he is going to go FAR in life... and lucky me ill be right beside him! also we have been freakishly busy with school and work. if any of you know sam and i very well you know that we dont spend much time on school work, but this time around it is inevitable! also sam got a job working with the ISU ALUMNI (i think) ha and i am working as the marketing manager for Farmers insurance. so to say the least we are busy with that too! LIFE is so great though! dont worry we still have TONs of fun.... and we have made a new addition to our family! :) look below to find out! ha we love you guys! ps these pictures are COMPLETELY backwards, but i didnt want to take the time to change them... :) Flowers my love got me for our anniversary
