families are forever

I need to take this opportunity to tell my dear cousin Angie how much i love her. Sunday, February 8th her husband was taken in a car accident. Angie... you have amazed me with your strength and testimony throughout this experience. Dan was a good man that many people loved and cared for. You were blessed with two beautiful little girls who will always be there to remind you of what a wonderful man Dan was. 

This is a time that allows all of us to reflect on where we are at in our lives, and realize that this isn't it. This isn't the end. What a wonderful knowledge to know that some day we will all return to live with our Father in Heaven again and that we will be there together as FAMILIES. Im so grateful to have the faith that this is true and that regardless to anything, the sealing power is REAL and it will continue on in the Heavens. I'm thankful for a wonderful family, and want you all to know that I love you. Angie we will continue to pray for you and Kaily and Lyndi and will do anything we can to help you.

Vintage & ROCKIN

Ive recently had a development of gloom and boredom come over me in regards to the decorations in my house.... ALthough I've only been married for a year, therefore I've only had these decorations for a year... I'm just ready for something NEW and ReFRESHING... In fact... I'm ready for a NEW HOUSE... MY OWN HOUSE! ha thats something to laugh about. So until then... I decided to do a little shopping and REVAMPING. 

I love Vintage Stores... EVerything about them.. except sometimes they can be a little spendy.. so i rarely enter one expecting to buy anything... A few days ago my luck turned completely around! I found these Beauties!!! I love them. THey are a white glass lamp for $6.00! what a steal of a deal! They dont have shades on them yet... so i need to do a little shopping before I show you the finished product.. what do you think?

Next, I have a crazy amount of picture frames from my wedding, but hardly any of them are being used. they sit in my basement in a tote. Well a few days ago I decided i now want to add some orange accents to our living room so... I painted! :) they are pretty orange, but i dont know... i think i like them! I took some black frames that had pictures of chairs that were used for our wedding, and painted them green and orange! The pictures inside i think are pretty cool! I have an old advertising book from the 60's, with millions of awesome ads inside. I cut some of them up and put them in my frames.. I think these will go above my window...

WE GOT A NEW CAR!!!! :) we absolutely LOVE it! and are so spoiled to have it! Sam is so happy to have a manly car now instead of our stinkin' aurora! although it was good to us... for awhile... We got it on MOnday and seriously havent stopped wanting to drive it and be in it! it is a used 06' but it is like BRAND SPANKIN NEW! someone really loved this car and took super good care of it! I Cant wait to go CAMPING now... that leads me to my next letter...

My little brother Jace was on ESPN-SPORTS CENTER on monday. HE is an amazing football player and I just wanted everyone to see how awesome of a kid he is! Although they call him Chase Hanson... its still him! I love you bro.

there is a peace that comes to my heart from knowing that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. There are many people that have aching hearts and questioning minds of what they are doing with their lives and why things happen to them. It seems that in recent days there have been many that i know and love that have suffered from various hardships and i sincerly pray that they will know how much i care and love them. The Lord is looking out for all of us, regardless to our circumstances and the way we live our lives. He loves us and wants us to be happy. That is why we are here. "Adam fell that man might be and men are that they might have JOY". My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you as you continue on this journey of life. I hope that with the coming of a new year, we each have a renewed sense of what is important in our lives and live up to our deepest desires.
