FINALLY... with a little taste of HEAVEN

My absolutely WONDERUL husband won a $50 gift certificate to a little place called THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY!... So of course naturally we made it a date! It started with him picking me up with a DOZEN BEAUTIFUL roses... (my tummy was all nervous and churning like when we first started dating! it felt so fun and fresh... and it was!) we then went to a really cool miniature golf course for a few holes of bets and fun! afterwards we went to dinner and ate some DELICIOUS food! I definately reccomend it to EVERYONE! by the time we finnished eating it was around 11:30 and knowing that no movies would be starting at that time, we decided to head home! Friday night was a little taste of HEAVEN for me! Sam is such a wonderful man and treats me like a PRINCESS no matter what! I LOVE YOU SWEETHEART thanks for keeping our lives thrilling and wonderful!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SAM!! this was his suprise party! First he has ever had... i had to tell him a few WHITE lies to get him to come to the club house... OOPS :) beating the heck out of the pinata! sam and andy were the only ones who took part!

YES... It was a CASINO/BINGO night themed party.. and we had a BLAST> office anyone? ONe of sams gifts.. ROCK BAND! HE LOVES it and is so cute when he plays! I fail everytime!

WE LOVE CHICAGO!!And those are some of my favorite pictures of our life so far in CHICAGO! I'm Sorry this blog was so long with so many pictures but i finally wanted to share everything we have been doing! we hope you are all doing well we love you so much! thank you to everyone for all of the support and love you have shown my family in the past two years! we are so thankful for all you do!

OOPs!

ok so today i decided i was FINALLY going to change my blog! but WOOPS! I must have done something terribly wrong because i STILL have this UGLY PINK background! if anyone knows what i can do to change it... PLEASE let me know!

well im really kinda torked! ive been super excited to post fun pictures of all of the fun things we've done in the past little while... well thanks to the defaults of modern technology i cant! :) so maybe someday you will get lucky enough to view them! well the past week has been a pretty fun one! Thursday was Sams BIRTHdAY! big 23! Hes an OLD mAN! (compared to me) and so i decided it would be fun to throw him a SUPRISE party! which i did... only the next day! he decided thursday that he wanted to go to the temple.. how do you refute the temple without giving away that you have a suprise party planned for him? so he got it a day late! it was still a blast there were lots of friends there and pretty much our entire office showed up! for one of his gifts, he got ROCk BAND! so that was the hit of the night! it was fun to see everyone JAMmIn' OuT~! HAPPY late birthday babe!!! i LOVE YOU so MUCH!!! It has been so nice for me to have the past little bit off... and by bit i mean week! i have loved every minute of it! but i think sam will be happy to have me at work again so that i stop spending all of his money! i just cant help it... we live by some AWESOME shopping! :) also recently we decided netflix was the way for us to go... we love watching movies but to rent one besides at a red box is like $4... kind of ridiculous! so we decided if we get netflix it would pay for itself which it has already! whoever came up with the idea of sending people whatever movies they want whenever they want for such a low price had a GREAT idea. i definetly reccomend it if your movie junkies~! also andy and jen congratulations on the new baby girl! she is beautiful! i love living with a baby!!! in fact the other night i was saying the prayer for dinner and i said " we are so thankful for the spirit of OUR baby!" i was like oh no katie is going to think im a crazy person who thinks her baby is mine! ha well anyways thats not what i mean i was going to say " we are so thankful to have the spirit of A baby in OUR home!" it came out wrong and needless to say there was a bit of chuckeling throughout the rest of the prayer! i think now im just talking.. sorry this is so long! i hope someday my pictures will get downloaded on here because we have lots of fun ones to share! we love and miss all of you and hope everything is going good! Grandma and Grandpa.. now that you have a blog you NEEd to post things on it! we like to know whats going on in your lives too! :) we love you all!

well i guess its about time that i post something new! it seems like i rarely have time to do it! so why not now! the past few weeks have been really great! my family came down and we partied hard! it was so much fun to have everyone together and to do SO many cool things! we were able to experience alot of new things! baseball games, wicked, nauvoo, the nauvoo temple, a wii tournement, shopping, and food! it was such a great time! thanks mom and dad for everything you did for us! your so wonderful! also work has been going good! there is a girl named shannon that is a salesmans wife... she needed a job so me being the SWEETHEART that i am... offered to give her half of my hours! :) so now i only work 3 days a week! it is WONDERFUL! my husband is so awesome for letting me be lazy! i love him so much! also sunday me, sam, and 6 of our other friends went into chicago. we went to the Linclon Park Zoo which is one of the only free zoos in the country. that was way fun and there was also a jazz festival going on in the park and BB King was playing so we went and watched that for awhile! there were thousands of people there it was fun! the funny part about this story is however that on the way home we took the train.. we waited to for the wrong one, and got on the wrong one! we ended up in the GHETTO about 30 minutes from our car! it was POURING rain and the train station was locked! we huddled into a little bus overhang until we could get someone to come and pick us up! it was pretty funny! and we all made it safe home! Sam is doing really well with work! he is such a hard worker and i am so proud of everything he has done! my job is good too especially because im not working as much! maybe at least one of us will keep our sanity now! well we hope all is well i will post pictures of all of our fun adventures on my next post! also if anyone is wanting to come to chicago this summer! we have a nice floor to sleep on! :) fill free to stay with us! love you all!

POINTE... welcome to my life

Dont get me wrong. I am definately enjoying Chicago.. but honestly all we have done since we've gotten here is WORK! holy moly! :) sam goes into work everyday at 10:30 I go in at 11:30 and we both get finished around 9-9:30. Talk about exhausting days. I guess that is what we set out to do this summer though right. Sams job description= find pests. exterminate pests. make lots of MONEY! Mine= answer phones. use the computer. file papers. Thrilling right? ok i know i sound very negative and i apologize. life is good! Im so excited for my family to come in like 10 days! we are going to have a BLAST! Wicked, the cubs game, Nauvoo, so much fun will be had! By the way for those of you wondering sam is doing awesome with his sales! he is a very persuasive man! :) well we love you and hope life is good with all of you! keep us updated on whats going on! we miss you!

CHICAGO!!!

well everyone! WE'VE MADE IT! we are officially living in here! i know its pretty weird! we had a LONG drive! for those of you who have never made the drive here... i reccomend to keep it that way! wyoming and nebraska are perhaps the most boring states ive ever encountered! ha but it was a good drive to be with sam! we listened to a book called The Life of Pi on tape and that made the time go by a little quicker! Our apartment is pretty nice we have a lot of luxuries that come along with it like 2 fitness centers, a swimming pool, a computer lab, a theatre, and sand volleyball court, and a beautiful huge pond in our back yard. so it really is a good place to live! its been fun unpacking and putting everything in its proper place! our closest is HUGE!!!! its almost half the size of our bed room! you know im loving that! its fun living with a baby! For those of you who dont know we are sharing an apartment with another couple... rent out here is like $1400 a month so we decided sharing wasnt such a bad idea! its been fun! sam started work yesterday and has already made 4 sales! he is amazing! i love him so much! and in case you were wondering... i start work today! yipee! ha well i hope you guys are all doing well! we love you and will miss you! but we will see you soon! have a fabulous week!

a fun weekend... a stressful week

ok... i guess it really is time to update. its kinda crazy how fast time can go in between posts! Well for those of you who dont know... me, sam, our friends rob and brittany, and larry and rebecca went to BEAR LAKE for the weekend! it was alot of fun! our grandparents let us stay in their cabin, and we had a ball! we played lots of games ate, ate tons of food, and watched movies! we were also able to go to a session in logan! what a BEAUTIFUL place to be! i love that temple! the reason we had this fun little get together, is because me and sam are moving to chicago next week! i know really crazy, rob and brittany are moving to texas for the summer, and larry and rebecca are moving to iowa for chiropractic school. so we were having our last whoorah before we all part our ways. we are sad to see everyone leaving, but are excited for the new adventures that we will all have. also this week is dead week, supposedly a break before the big finals. well we are all cramming our studying and trying to get packed for the move.. to be honest though.. im not nearly as stressed as i should be.. hence im blogging! :) but im sure thats not even remotely a surprise to any of you! well to those who are taking finals this week or next week... may you be blessed! good luck! we love you all and hope to see you on sunday may 4th at my parents house!
